Senator Musto visits Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Lansford.   Bridge Educational Foundation provides a bridge between Pennsylvania’s employers and students. And, in so doing, the Foundation has made a difference in the lives of over 3,000 families with students in over 300 schools spread out over 43 counties. On Oct. 15th,  the Foundation had the pleasure to announce $20,000 of EITC scholarship donations for pre-kindergarten programs and K-12 tuition.  full release
Senator Musto tours newly renovated Hazleton General Hospital Intensive Care Unit

With the help of a grant from the state Department of Health, Hazleton General Hospital unveiled a new state of the art ICU unit. Renovations included a facelift to 12 patient rooms, redesigned nursing stating,  automated doors at the entrance and an updated computer system.

State Sen. Raphael Musto  joined the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA and the community to celebrate the completion of a newly surfaced road at Camp Kresge, which was paved with environmentally friendly materials and will provide better access for guests. full story

Senator Musto presented a $500,000 check to help purchase 366 acres of abandoned strip mines for the Cranberry Creek Gateway Park project, a join initiative of CAN DO, Inc. and the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce.  Thanks to this funding and a matching $500,000 grant from the County of Luzerne, the Cranberry Creek Gateway Park project committee is now able to move forward with plans to reclaim the mine-blighted land on the entranceway into the greater Hazleton community.
